Safety Disclaimer

In MAVE Creative Studio we use Jesmonite, it is eco-friendly, water-based composite material used to make decorative molded objects. It is safe to use and contains no solvents or VOC’s (Volatile organic compounds). While the material is non-toxic, participants must follow the safety instructions to avoid any harm. We will not be liable for any damages caused during the workshop.

Workshop Rules

We expect all participants to follow MAVE Creative Studio rules. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action including termination of your workshop and you may be banned from attending future workshops.

Workshop will begin on time so please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to ensure a smooth start. Participants who arrive 15 minutes after the beginning of a workshop will be reschedule to the next available slot, $15 deposit will not be refunded.
Do not bring your own material(s) to our workshop without our prior consent.
During the workshop carefully follow all the instructions given by our team for a successful process and final result.
In the event of any wastage or spillage of materials from not following the instructions, additional/replacement materials will cost extra, minimum $5.
If you require more time to complete the sanding, you'll be given extra time up to 10 minutes on top of the scheduled end time. After the complimentary 10 minutes, you'll be charged $10 for every 10 minute block.
Treat everyone with respect, verbal or physical abuse is not tolerated.
Do not discriminate or target people for any reason. Be mindful of other participants and behave in a friendly manner.
Sexual harassment will not be tolerated.
No smoking/vaping allowed.
Anyone who intentionally poses a threat to other participants, our team, company and/or our business operations will be asked to leave the workshop and may be banned from attending future workshops.

Private Workshop Rules

All above mentioned Workshop Rules apply.
Workshop will begin on time. If there are participants who have not arrived, class will start no later than 10 minutes from the booking time regardless if the group is complete or not.
Workshop will end on time. If participants who had arrived late were unable to complete their work, a complimentary extension of up to 15 minutes will be allowed. After that the group will be charged $10 for every 10 minute block.

Final Product

At our workshop, our team is trained to teach you the right techniques and provide guidance during the workshop. Please carefully try to follow the instructions to ensure smooth process and successful outcome. However, the aesthetics of the product is ultimately dependent on each participant's work process, choice of colors, work pace, etc. For beginners, attending their first Jesmonite workshop, we ask you to enjoy the process, rather than be too focused on the final result. We will not be liable for any disappointment with regards to the final looks of your product.

Cancellation and Refund policy

We do not allow cancellations and refunds once your slot has been booked. Before you book please be certain that you can make it to the workshop . No refunds will be given if you fail to attend the workshop.
Your booking is transferable if you are unable to make it, you may send a friend or a family member to take your place. Let us know if that is the case.
You can reschedule - however, it needs to be done 3 days before the workshop and you are allowed to reschedule once. If it is less than 3 days before the workshop or a second reschedule, we will charge an administration fee in an amount of $10 per person. To reschedule or transfer please email us at mavecreativestudio1@gmail.com.
In the event of government issued lockdowns (such as COVID-19 or similar), we will reschedule your slot to the next available date once we are allowed to resume. Priority will be given to those who have already signed up. Same applies to private as well as corporate workshops.

Photography and Video

We take photos and videos during our workshops for our training and marketing purposes. Participants with any concern should inform us prior to the start of the workshop.

By registering to our workshop(s), you agree not to replicate our workshop(s) (content, lesson plan, literature, etc.) for profit.
If you intend to replicate or adapt our workshops for profit, please seek written permission from us prior to registration.
If you are interested in learning from us to run your own workshop, please let us know prior to registration.
Participants who fail to abide by our terms will be banned from attending our workshops and we reserve the right to take legal action.

Minimum class size

There is no minimum number of participants to start a scheduled workshop session.
We accept Walk-ins to take part of scheduled sessions. Please contact us to check on availabilities.

Product Terms and Conditions

We describe all our products sold on this website to the best of our ability, but be aware that when ordering online an item you receive might be slightly different color and pattern from the images you see online. Every piece is handmade and is unique. We try our best to match your desired color and pattern choice.
We do not allow cancellations or refunds once you have placed your order on our website.
Due to the nature of jesmonite, air bubbles and surface irregularities are part of the unique characteristics and are not a subject for a refund.
Clean gently with a soft damp cloth, do not use any detergent. Products are not dishwasher or microwave safe. We are not liable for any damage caused by harmful actions.
Our products are sealed with a food-safe sealer, but are not tested for food safety, therefore we do not recommend using our products for serving food and liquids. Items made of Jesmonite can be used for decorative tableware and home decor.
We do not accept returns unless the item you receive was broken during delivery. In the event of a broken item you have to contact us within 3 days of receiving your package. If the return is accepted, we will replace the item with a new one (same color and technique) or you get our store credit in an amount of your purchase.

Shipping & delivery

Your order will be dispatched in 2-5 working days upon placement of your order. Custom orders might add 1-2 extra days.

Failed Deliveries

It is your responsibility to provide us with a complete and correct address. If your parcel has been returned to us due to an incomplete or inaccurate address, we'll contact you for a re-delivery (shipping and handling fees will apply).
In the event where the delivery personnel can't reach you and the parcel is returned to us, the same re-delivery fee would apply.
